The company’s sustainability efforts aim to avoid short-term gains that come at the expense of negative long-term consequences. The company’s investment activities, property management, and financing operations are conducted with the objective of achieving the best possible long-term, sustainable outcomes. Planning, governance, and maintenance of sustainability efforts follow the company’s organizational structure with clear delegation of responsibility and authority. The sustainability work is guided by internal policies, guidelines, overarching goals, as well as laws, external guidelines, and regulations.
Stenhus Fastigheter’s first step is to define a target vision for operations extending to 2026. A Sustainability Committee has been appointed to oversee this process. The Sustainability Committee is responsible for regularly monitoring, reporting on, and improving the company’s sustainability efforts.
